DISHES & THINGS // ASHEVILLE // NOVEMBER 8-9, 2025

$350.00

In this workshop you will learn the mosaic method know as “picassiette” which translates to “broken dishes”. Using predominantly vintage and new dishes, along with various other mosaic materials to build dimension and texture, you will be making a beautiful 10x10” work of art. You can bring an image you’d like to make or use one of Debra’s templates. It can be a portrait of an animal or human, an abstract, or anything you choose. Strive for simplicity.

Debra will show you how to cut the dishes into shapes, which tools and adhesives work best, how to grout and how to incorporate other mixed media to further enhance the work.

If your piece is not ready to grout at the workshop end you will leave with grout to finish at home.
